Caitlin Yates

Caitlin is an associate in the Commercial Real Estate Division at Porter Law Firm. She began her career with the firm as a law clerk in 2024 and now focuses on drafting commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and resolving title and survey matters.

Caitlin earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, graduating summa cum laude, and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she also received a Certificate in Transactional Law Practice. While in law school, she was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing I.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys hosting game nights with friends and spending time at the dog park with her pup.
