About Robert
J. Robert MacNaughton has maintained an active practice for over 24 years concentrating on business representation, asset sales and acquisitions, real estate transactions, commercial and civil litigation, oil and gas transactions, and bankruptcy. His business representation has been generally focused on commercial real estate and oil and gas industry related companies. His litigation practice in state and federal courts has been concentrated in Texas. Prior to practicing law, Robert was a petroleum landman for over 8 years working with properties in Texas, Colorado, Kansas, and Wyoming.
Experienced in multiple capacities, Robert has represented clients in matters and cases involving complex legal and factual issues related to commercial, real estate, lending, and entity issues, from negotiating business acquisitions and transactions, workouts and settlements, to disputes on similar matters, through trials.
