Richard “Ricky” Dittemore

Associate Attorney

As an Associate Attorney in the POA Division at Porter Law Firm, Ricky represents single-family and townhome homeowner associations and condominium associations. His practice spans corporate governance, deed-restriction enforcement, assessment collection, POA transactions, and residential real estate matters in both transactional and litigation contexts.

Ricky’s connection to real estate runs deep. He earned his real estate salesperson license at age 18 and built his early career representing buyers, sellers, and tenants throughout the Houston area. That hands-on experience gives him a unique perspective when advising clients. Ricky is also an adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law, where he co-teaches Introduction to Property Owners Association Law to second- and third-year law students.

A native Houstonian, Ricky lives in the Cypress area with his wife, Karla, and their two Yorkies, Lola and Luka. Outside the office, he can be found producing music, DJ-ing, hiking, or traveling to nature and sightseeing destinations around the world.
