Ryan is an attorney in Porter Law Firm’s construction defect practice, helping clients navigate complex disputes involving property damage, project performance, and related construction claims.
A native of Nederland, Texas, Ryan has deep roots throughout Southeast Texas and a genuine appreciation for the region’s culture and community. He graduated magna cum laude from Lamar University and was a member of Lamar’s Moot Court team. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
Prior to joining Porter Law Firm, Ryan practiced at Daws Law Firm, handling a wide range of cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, family law, and criminal law. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience clerking in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and serving as a research assistant at Texas Tech University School of Law.
Outside the office, Ryan enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and his cat, Niko.
